We are group devoted to help other women who have been subjected to domestic violence or abuse get out and about and rebuild their lives. We are group aimed at but not exclusive to women who have been be victims of domestic violence or abuse and have created a bloke free zone to help them regain some confidence in a social environment. I have been a victim of rape myself and hope to help others who have been through a similar experience. Boyz I hope you will understand.

The group is for lesbian and bi-sexual women to make potential friends and expand our social circles.  We are mainly aged over 30 and meet up for a variety of events that suit a wide range of interests including: trips to the theatre, comedy, music, meals, pubs, cinema or coffee and a catch up. We sometimes take part in sporting events such as 'Race for Life' and other charity events for the more active members of the group.

This group is not only for women of colour but also those who simply enjoy black/carribean culture. It is for the woman who takes control of her life and wants to enjoy it to the fullest.
